I thought this was worth a thread, as sorting out the bike fettling area is all part of the game right! Tip tricks and pics are welcome! Any ingenious home brew additions to the workshop would be cool to see.

So I need to spend a bit of time sorting out the bike cave.

Ive got my tool rack sorted out using some of this
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=gravi ... f&tbm=isch
which works well mixed with magnetic tool storage attached by tip ties.
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=magne ... 12&bih=876

Ive got the bike stored on the wall using one of these
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=gravi ... 12&bih=876
which also works great

Stuff to do.. any tips welcome

Tyre solution A:

Tyre solution B:
http://forums.mtbr.com/wheels-tires/tir ... 34679.html

Tyre Solution C:
Stop buying new tyres, using 1-2 times, convincing yourself they're not 'quite right' for the specific trail/time of year, repeating x times; where x =infinity

Flooring solution: something like this or similar works really well

Air blowing solution - this is what I've got:

but you'll also be warning one of these:

or similar

This stuff is cool for sorting out tool drawers and even making tool boards.

I have used it and it's really easy to work with.

Tyres and wheel - cable ties hanging from a hook.

Bike Hook I wouldn't buy one of these again, holes were drilled with right size drill bit just couldn't hold weight!
Top bolt popped out with a bit of brick, Bike lock saved bike from hitting ground.

Wheel sets hang on a bike rack attached to the wall.

Bikes hang by saddle over computer and tool box area freeing up some space.

I have my tools in a roller cab, tyres are on a hanging basket bracket
My spicy is locked to a hoop bolted into the floor. My road bikes are hooked on the rafters by the saddle.

I need to get some horizontal bike holders for the road bikes to keep them out of the way

This is my humble little workshop. Keen to learn how to maintain my bikes properly this year! Amazing how the parts start to mount up, even after selling quite a lot!
