Have been given these peddles have no idea what make etc they are but just need to get a pair of shoes now. Just wondering if anyone could point be in the right direction towards a good pair. |

They are shimano pedals I have a set on my road bike. If you look closely there are markings on the metal part of the pedals in the centre. There are Allen key adjusters for tension I would wind them off If you are not used to clipped in pedals. I use some shoes I got from lidl they have been great. |

Lester i have looked in them am45s but thought they were mainly for downhill etc? would i be right in saying there isnt much difference in the lower end to the higher end shoes or is same as normal pay more for the badge ? |

I've entered the clipless world with a pair of shimano xc30. Snug fit and ventilation is OK. |

David, you are probably right the shimano ones i mentioned might not be light enough for xc , in the winter i reckon they would be ok. im more than happy with mine so will be using them for the riding i do |

Went to to the local bike shop today and got myself some flr f-65 shoes with shimano cleats were about 80 quid all in dont seem to bad for a starter shoe . Yet to try them on the bike yet though |
