Anyone cut bars? Gotta trim my Spires down a few mills.......well actually a lot of mills. Borrowed a pipe cutter and it doesn't fit, so probably gonna buy one. But I got a saw in my tool box, anyone used a saw to cut bars? |

Ive used both saw and pipe cutter, and unless it was 100% urgent i wouldnt use the hacksaw again, id wait and get a pipe cutter the cut is so much cleaner and saves alot of filing, plus i dont always have the straightest cut with a saw but the pipe cutter gives a ncie straight cut if your cutting a fair amount off, could always try both methods right near the end, then whichever feels best do were you actuly want them cut ? |

I guessed the pipe cutter would be better, its just I am at Herts on Wed and I wanna have them trimmed for then. Hence considering the saw. Gonna pop to DIY store to get a pipe cutter. |
