I was going to order the X king but they worked out too expensive with the Black Chilli compound. I ended up going for the Maxxis Ardent 2.25 60a 60TPI as I found them for only £21 each delivered. PS I've spent far too much on the bike already this month |

I liked the Ardents but i think the 60a's will be a fast tyre but a tad hard. |

Don't tell me that haha!! It'll be alright I'll just make the suspension that little bit plusher. I love my full suspension now. No more getting off at stairs no matter how big or steep just point and peddle. Love it. Had a great cycle the other day Cheshunt to Camden Lock. |

They are tripple compound ones Jamie, not 60a's but saying that i believe that tread pattern works really well anyway. |

I think the Maxxis Aspen is a great fast rolling tyre for fireroads and tarmac, and is still really grippy. Fantastic tyre. |
