I'm looking at am 29er tyres. I've run continentals for years I'm thinking 2.4 tubeless so x- kings look about right on the 456 I run a vertical on the front and diesel rear. The spesh ones will be cool in the winter but a bit less rolling resistance would be nice

I've Conti X-King Protection & Conti Mountain King Protection on my 29er Roocky Mountain. They were awesome when we went to Wales earlier in the year! |

Conti tyres are good, the spesh ones I have currently are OK for mild muddy conditions nothing more, they where cheap at time.. Ive got Conti race Kings on at the moment and used them on Sunday... fast rolling in these current dry conditions... Wait until VWSurfbum chips in.. he changes tyres like a F1 team uses rubber... always a good word of wisdom

If you want good all rounders that set up ok tubeless, a set of MK2's or Rubber Queens/trail kings. I run MK front 2.4 and a 2.2 RQ rear. both are really good all rounders that roll surprisingly well. clear mud ok, but only criticism is they dont like really loose dusty surfaces like Bedgeburry. Just to reiterate i dont use the tubelless ready ones, sidewalls are pretty think anyway and we dont have the rocks round here to slice and dice. all i would say is once seated make sure you get a good 2 cups of solution in. If you need a hand setting up, just pop over. |

I'll have to have a look in they might be close to my spesh tyres pugotory and butcher and they will go tubeless |
