Has anyone tried this product? Is it going to be useless?

I have, its a bit wobbly, i'd spend a few more quid and get a slightly more sturdy one.

Get yourself on ebay I got a pair of Thule ones one brand new for £30 a year or so ago

Can second on the thule carriors, got a pair myself. Easy to use, grips most bike frames proplery and sturdery. Tested up to tone with no problems (on privite test track of cource)

Will look into the Thule. Bit worried someone might nick it off the roof while I'm riding...

My thule rack locks on to the thule roof bar that lock on to the car. If they want it they must really want it
