Ok right where to start with this one!
I wear prescription glasses for driving, but usually wear them all the time! Last year the brought prescription Oakley Holbrooks for the summer !, cost a fair amount , use them for driving & cycling ! Riding in winter is a bit of a pain as i don't want to spend out on a pair of prescription "clear" lenses ! have tried safety glasses which are ok "non prescription" . trouble is when riding fast in the cold the water streaming from my eyes is a pain & I don't want to damage my every day glasses ! So was thinking of trying goggles for the winter month's with maybe contact lenses! I know they all fog to a certain degree but with no water streaming from my eyes i can relax and not squint when riding at speeds (which is always a good thing) my lid is a MET parabelum (all mountain ) so should be able to fit . the goggles I was looking at were smith's V1! I know you look a little dorky but the way I figure is I'm going out wearing a blue lid, orange bike, green shorts , grey top so what difference does a set of goggles make ! P.s goggles £25, Oakley prescription £230!

I wear the Oakley prescriptions, anything else is a compromise.

I have used goggles with glasses underneath but you end up taking them off every time you stop.

For real rubbish weather rides i use straight forward clear/amber glasses from eBay as not to ruin yet another pair of Oakley's, it just depends if you can ride without using your prescription eyewear.
