I've contacted the shop in china about my warranty issue :)
Two batteries have died what's my best option ?

Don't buy the cheap unbranded battery packs. You need to look for a battery box (there's one for the SolarStorm X2 and X3's) and then but 4 decent protected 18650 batteries like Panasonic's or Samsung's and charge them in a li-ion battery charger like an Inov8.

Very interesting, i always considered trustfire to be pretty good and i've not had any problems with my cells, but that said on my most recent cells i was expecting longer burn times so maybe this is because they are much smaller cells hiding inside?

Yes torchy is very handy for info, especially beam shots. A few of my battery packs are made up of laptop cells. As long as they aren't Sony one I'm not too bothered! Trustfire/Anything-fire are always a bit hit and miss, hence the price. But the head units are generally good. Don't usually have much wrong that a bit of soldering and thermal paste can't sort.

I like to use lipo batteries I get mine form Hobby King you do often have to change the connectors but if you know any electronics this can be done easily.
The advantage to these is that my light barely ever has to be charged and they don't deteriorate over time when charged using the appropriate charger.
