Evoc does not offer the protection advised by the docs
really nice and comfortable though just a 4" square over my scar and the belt had no protection just elastic. Just ordered the Troy lee

Looks nice, you could also consider having an extra pad tailor made to sit over your scar (for extra peace of mind) and utilize the belt to keep it in place. |

Good idea scarper , I've not worried about it until I crashed but the docs seemed very nervous on Sunday night which made me think as they said this is always an additional risk for me. |

May be worth a look/read. I don't know if you will find an off the shelf set of body armour that gives the right coverage for you mate. I know what you mean I've been riding for a year and had a few spills with no worries but it was a case of ignorance is bliss. I'm a bit paranoid after being told the possible risks. I might end up tailoring a suit so might cut the arms off rather than moving pads. |
