Are these types of free hubs able to fit different makes of cassettes or are they application specific? Ie, this free hub body has a SRAM cassette on it, but could it fit a Shimano? Ie, could I change a Sunrace 10sp cassette to a Shimano or SRAM 10sp if the free hub body is not brand specific? |

Not brand specific unless your getting a roadie calognolo cassette. Or A stupid 11 speed Sram. Any 8-9-10 cassette will fit on that free hub |

Thanks. The reason I asked is that the bike I'm getting my son has a Sunrace cassette that I would like to change to SRAM, so I guess I will be able to. |
