Guys - can anyone recommend any cheap (<£200) replacement wheelset for my faithful old Trek 6000? They need to be QR friendly and I'm not fussed about tubeless, which might make it a bit easier.... Superstar have these available as an opener: http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/a ... eelset.htm On-one have some along similar lines But i'll take recommendations  Cheers Chris. |

Superstar are normally good value and a few mates have them and are happy. I also like the Mavic Crossone in that price range: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mavi ... prod127011 But perhaps the best option is to ask if anybody has a set for sale (we all do...). You'll be surprised what you can pick up for a fraction of their original cost  And if you are braver you could pick up a super deal on eBay on a set of wheels. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Those xt look good, only downside of the mavic ones is the straight pull spokes being made by the midgets under the mountain who only work on Thursdays with a 31 day month, so if you break one there some times can be a delay in getting one Superstar wheels have been kind to me, but my money would be on those xt's |
