I have a Bell Super 2 Helmet, does anyone know if it is possible to buy just the chin guard?
The Super 2 has all the correct appointments to attach the chin guard (you simply have to remove two rubber bungs), but I cannot find the chin guard for sale anywhere?

My brother has one, he didn't want the same as my parachute. It's very nice but it isn't as strong and doesn't meet the same strength standards. In wales he didn't take the chin guard off, and that was my point of getting the parachute you don't want to ask you don't get any hotter so you might as well keep it on.

I think that's just because the bar is removable, or that's what they say...

There's some serious bargains to be had if they do start selling them?
At the Cafe in Afan last week they were selling the Super for half price £50!
$75 dollars on its own, so you got to expect roughly the same in sterling, makes it almost viable at £125.

I got my Super 2 in a Helmet amnesty at Thetford. It was the week after I had the tree incident at Bedgebury, so I handed in my 'damaged' lid and got the Super 2 for £60ish. Had I thought about it a bit more, I probably should have just bought the Super 2R, but I got caught in the moment.

Speaking of Bedgebury, when are we going again?
