Hi guys and girls

New to MTB
I have a whyte G150 and its running standard WBT tires but converted to tubeless

The front is a vigilante 27.5 2.3 and rear is a wolverine 27.5 2.2

The rear needs changing

Would you guys stick with what's on there or change to a different brand or match the sizes front and rear

I called the shop they said the standard tires are the tits and it's £40 for a light weight wolverine or £49 for the puncer protect wolverine plus the tubeless kit and fitting

So before I commit I thought I'd ask you guys.

Thanks guys and girls for your help

The genteral rule of thumb is the front needs to be more argressive/bigger tread pattern/softer compound in the center and side tread as it does the steering, the rear can be less aggressive/small thread pattern/harder compound. The rear can be slide a little bit with being a problem if you feel comfortable with that happening. I have been running hans damp front and rock razer rear for a a while, this won't suit everyone as the rear is very slick. If you are happy with the current set up stick with it =)
