Who uses them? I've been looking at SIXC Cinch and the SRAM XX1 My BB is a SRAM PF30 OS press-in bearings, so I think either of the above will be a direct fit (maybe with some spacers for the SIXC). They are both evenly priced. the SIXC gets top reviews, the SRAM not quite so good (according to the reviews, SRAM is slightly heavier and not as stiff). Only negative on the SIXC is the bearing life in the BB, not meant to be great, but not sure I would have that specific problem on my setup? Anyone use either of the above cranks? |

I have the X0 which I believe that are pretty much the same as the xx1. Very light and have taken a few big rock strikes and still look as good as day 1. No experience with the other ones so can't comment but I would go with the ones that have best warranty as with anything bike / bling related |

I've got a set od sram 2200 carbon cranks (basicly manufactored listed parts/OE spec) so should be simular to XO. Did have a X9 crank set before hand, saved a fair amount of weigh by going carbon but it also helped i dropped the spider when i went 1X drive train. As with ian, not used SIXC before so can't comment but i'm happy. Just remember crank boot covers to protect the ends from rock strikes. |

Thanks. The 2200 is what Spesh used. I'm going for the XX1. |

I ordered the XX1 with crank boots. I will be fitting it tomorrow. I'm hoping it will be a straight swap with my existing SRAM alloy crank and I use the same spacers etc. |

Be interested on the weight saving, never weighed mine against a metal set, but you can physically tell how much lighter they are. |

X9 alloy crank is meant to be 881g, XO carbon cranks is meant to be 788g. They these are both quotes for 2x setup so if you go down to 1x with a spideless ring expect drop another 100g (50g for a ring, 50g for spider) so could be closer to 688g. Will be interested in numbers as well |

Quick update. Added some preload and rode them round Surrey Hills today. It's all good. |
