Hi everybody, So I bought some TLD Skyline shorts on crc, they are cheap at the moment..!! but I don't like them as the material is too thin.. Does anybody know if TLD Ruckus are made from thicker material..?? |

I ride wearing the motos, they are defiantly very heavy duty (think like a jean material). Can be hot in the height of summer. No idea about ruskus but when i looked at the skyline i felt they were too thin for me and was afraid of ripping them if i came off |

I have x2 pairs of Skyline & X1 pair of Ruckus! skylines are thin but I've never torn them as of yet! Ruckus are still quite thin but come with heavy duty zips & padded inners! Motors are thick non stretchy martial , a little warm this time of year! very popular & loads of knock off's about (Ebay jobbie)! |

Forget overpriced TLDs and get some Endura Singletrack II, i wear them to commute, trail riding, DH etc... They survived pretty tumbles I already had on and of road, they have lots of pockets and all them close with magnets, awesome shorts. |

I have a pair of Singletrack shorts they are good shorts but after heavy use they started to crinkle? I spoke to Endura they said to wash with conditioner & iron which I did and it did work for a while! I torn them, came off on a icy lane a while back! that one hurt I mainly wear my skyline shorts both pairs i've had for a little over two years a lot of natural trails"I prefer" road rides and a few races with 'no rips' All TLD gear is dear unless its last season or old stock! New Ruckus shorts are £120 I believe! |

I think it could be the way you've washing them, I always use non bio detergent not wash my gear. Shorts are fine, my oldest pair is completing 3 years now. |

Cheers for the info guys.. I did look at the single track's but they look narrow and I like my baggies to be baggy.. My current shorts are Specialized demo's from 2013/14 I think, I take no special care with them washing or wearing and they are still good, I just fancied an upgrade. I agree the current season TLD stuff is so over priced, maybe I shall just look for another pair of demo's instead.. |
