I'm going to be straight I'm a tart I want rid of my CTD bar mounted remote.
It's seldom used and its in the way of where I want to mount my dropper remote.

I can convert the fork to a top cap adjuster so that's no stress.

The shock needs the whole end cap replaced which is not really a cost effective option. Mojo suggest buying a new shock which again I'm not overly keen on.

The shock adjustment is via a cable which runs into a stop on the shock body.

I could shorten the cable to keep it in one setting but the adjustability would be handy so I wondered if there is a barrel adjuster anyone is aware of that has considerable adjustment available.

Or failing that any other very discrete options? Not bar mounted.

Yeah that's the one.

I have been suggested a TT style shifter mounted to one of the cable guides.

Or a long barrel adjuster which potentially would allow me to tension the cable into each mode.

Wish I hadn't thrown out all my old cables now

Is it worth the faff? You should be able to sell the shock and remote as a system for ok money and just buy a shock with a lever, without the price differential being too much.

It's trying to find the right shock in good nick and the right tune for the bike that is tricky hence the tinkering.
