Fellas... seeing all you on your swanky full sussers has me all week.. and the hammering my back side is getting from this rock hard ground we have.. :? :?

Well the C2W scheme is coming back at work in June, and I have been hankering for a full sus bike :D :D

I have been in contact withKHS Bikes based over in Safon Waldron, so local for me. I'm gonna go and see them next Thursday to take a look at this bike below

Now I'm after a good XC mainly oriented bike with a few down hill's thrown in, I'm not gonna do the whole Morzine down hill epics or put my self info the Megavalache.. Any one got anymore suggestions (oh and shop has to be part of the cyclescheme partner bit) 8-) 8-)

Thanks for reading.....

The limit for the cycle to work scheme is £1000. So i'm guessing your looking to keep it under that limit?

There's actually no maximum limit, but employers have to fill in more forms to increase it from £1000, so most don't bother (mine included). :(

What is the maximum value bicycle and safety equipment package employees can select through the scheme?

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) has issued a group consumer credit licence to cover Employers implementing Cycle to Work Schemes that are limited at £1000 inc. VAT per Certificate. To view and download a copy of the licence please click here.

Employers who have their own Consumer Credit Licence Category B (consumer hire) can allow employees to request Certificates of a higher value. Alternatively, employers wishing to increase the Cycle to Work Certificate value can apply for their own individual Consumer Credit Licence from the Office of Fair Trading. For further details please contact our Helpdesk on info@cyclescheme.co.uk.

This will actually be my third bike from the scheme, so I understand about the workings. And yes it will be limited to the £1000 limit my company has set.

I know a good full sus for a grand will be limited, but to get onto the ladder as such and then build up from their.

The scheme has also changed. Now and after year 1 you have a choice to pay off the bike at a % based on price or as they call it future Market value FMV or sign up for two more years and pay a smaller % deposit then have null payments until this time is up... From memory unto 4 years for full time... Each year the FMV % goes down...

So in the end I went for the offer on the KHS XC-604, really nice guy there Steve, showed me there kit and bikes..knows his stuff about these bikes. So nice to get a good personal touch and friendly... Now just waiting for the C2W voucher and the bike will be mine 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Scott scale 29er HT, I think it would be nice to have a HT and a FS again, I'm sure the wife would disagree though?

Sweet - previous years model seems to have gotten great reviews

seems to have a nice aggressive look to it for an XC bike - let us know how it rides
