Needing to replace a cracked helmet. Looking for something with good coverage at the rear, MTB style, decent airflow through it as I tend to sweat a lot. Would be nice to have MIPS from what I have read on that technology. Oh and not be bright pink

Budget up to £100.

Any ideas? Bell helmets seem to fit best, but the Super 3 MIPS is a little over budget, and having tried one on, seemed very large, quite wide, presumably due to the MIPS system?

Thanks in advance.

Seven IDP looks interesting, a few comments about build quality though?

POC Tectal is so far over budget I just can't go there sadly :(

Kask Rex and Scott Vivo Plus have caught my eye if anyone has tried one? Kask felt good, haven't tried the Scott though.

Whatever you do don't get a Bell Super. Hot, heavy & doesn't stay in place. The Giro Chronicle seems to be the best for your budget.

Interesting, thought it might be okay venting on that. Tempted by a Giro, but the pads falling apart put me off.

Uvex Finale, best fitting helmet I've owned..

I crashed in it last year where I was knocked out cold and helmet cracked in two nearly, but I'm still here writing this so it must be good..

Never had a problem with airflow or overheating also it has a nice flat top ridge to mount a GoPro if you wish.. :D

Only downside is the crap colour choice..
