I dunno if any of you are into buffing your motors or if this is of any interest but i thought i'd post it anyway...

I have had the car since tuesday and it has completed approx 380miles now.
as the weather wasn't great i thought i would give it a seal up in the garage.
First up was a 2 bucket clean with some megs hyper wash and rinsed with some demon shine, dried with 2 blue plush drying towels.
Auto glym super resin polish applied on a damp german applicator yellow side and buffed off with a super plush towel
Colonite 476s wax applied with damp german applicator black side and buffed off with a super plush towel.
also went back over with an LED inspection lamp to buff off every section and shut !

I also removed the poor quality overlay style dealer plates and fitted a clean set without screws.

here are some pics, it's a bridge camera so the quality isn't perfect but you get the jist.

No swirls!

Really jealous of the zetec S bodykit, i have a 12 plate fiesta zetec in white, if only insurance was cheaper to insure a 1.6l :(

Nice motor... So where the big key slot in the roof to wind it up ;-)

Fancy coming round and cleaning my jeep and the wife's car... She's useless at them.......

Glad to see you're helping to keep me in work!

Everyone should buy a Ford, if only for that!!

Nice job, I do love spending pointless hours cleaning and polishing our cars.

This year with all this pants weather I have managed do one good clean and polish.

I do love my smax for its space but I had the engine replaced lastweek after less than 20000miles, just inside the 3yr warranty PHEW!
