We were messing about with different positions earlier to see what suits him best. It is now a little more forward and level but run out of time to try it. Its the front that is a bit high too but he seems to like it.

Make the saddle horizontal and he'll be able to pedal so much easier

The Piglet is dead sadly so back on the calculator now. A new one in the making. Will never find another Fox Kashima forks for £190 but that's life.

Not stolen but it got cooked for the bacon more precisely. I had a fire in the shed Monday last week, electrical surge/fault apparently. 8 bikes turned to ash, my son came off worse losing 3 bikes. Only the steel bits left, all melted away. I could easily fit what was left of my Whyte hardtail in a shoe box.

Stumpie, yes I do have contents insurance (phew) which does cover the bikes in the shed but when I took it out 18mths ago I did not have the Whyte and the Piglet so the limit was set at £400 per bike. I think there is a hint that they may pay more for other cheaper bikes to make up the shortfall on Whyte & Ragley which cost more than £400. Will find out tomorrow but I think the total will cover for all.

All is replaceable. Already got myself a Specialized Crave Expert hardtail as I could not go thru another week without a bike.

Haha, I am sure it will mate. Already got the crankset 34T so got the ball rolling. Have 16 days to put it together before the pre-planned family biking holiday.
