Made a last minute decision to give it a go this morning, but unfortunately as I haven't met any of you before I have no idea what you all look like!

Course was quite good, although as the various logs around the course were bigger than fag packets it made it more difficult. That bit after about 3 miles; the sharp right hand turn up hill then left over the log was a bit of a stinker. And they did a good job of the last log stream thing mid race. Saw a chap in front go for a dive over the top which put me off that a bit to start with.

I was number 123 on a giant anthem.

How did you guys get on?

Graham

Not sure yet, waiting for the results. VW and I managed 5 laps and Chatman 4 (missed the 5th lap cutoff by a small amount).
So can we blame you for the delayed start LetherG? :D

So you where one of the late entrants that made the start time a bit later ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Course was good, start made a bottle neck but then made the riders fan out.. the various log crossings where fun, the up hill over the ploughed field I was not a fan off...and the last crossing you mentioned, the second lap I went over it but stopped dead, as the mud was now deeper... I see they finely sorted it on my final lap.. overall a good course... brutal on the arms, shoulder and hands from the pounding of the hard ground....

I'm sure it would have been a different animal had it been raining :o :o  :? :? :? :?

I am singlehandedly responsible for the late start, just wanted to spend ages riding the warm up loop!

i got 9 laps in the end, got in before the 4h (3h55m) so should have done the tenth, back took a bit of a hammering though which is the excuse im sticking to.

good fun though but will feel it in the morning!
