Thorndon was terrible yesterday. Any single track I tried was completely water logged, tyres clogged up and bike fell out from underneath me very quickly. Had to tip-toe back towards the harder gravel trials, even those were pretty wet still. I think it'll take weeks for the water to drain away.

Danbury was pretty sloppy and sketchy in places today. Regretted not putting mud tyres back on.

Hockley Woods very wet! However good mud tyres will cope and bike was easy to clean, it was mostly broken down leaf litter as opposed to mud and washed of no probs.

Hah, it's a bit of an optical illusion in that photo because the back of the bike is higher and nearer, but I do have long legs and I can hang off the back of the saddle easily for steep downhills.

No mud where I'm riding, the urban streets of London to the rescue.

On another note, Epping from talking to people is still auwful.
