anyone going to Fort William this weekend for the DH world cup?

i just had a moment of madness plus peed of with work and need a break so i just booked a hotel this eveing and should be there Friday afternoon.... so anyone else going?

Anyone else having to take time off the bike at the moment? been two weeks so far for me and with all the world cup hype footage and reading all the coverage it makes it worse. Off for xrays tomorrow and hopefully I will find out what I have done to my elbow.

As Gladdice (Sir Crashalot) leaves us after 6 years of hucking and crashing, I thought it a good opportunity to pull together some of the best crashes from the gallery.

Off to Morzine in July, looking around at insurance, anyone got any tips ?

Ive had various insurance before and looked at some of the recommended ones DogTag, SnowCard ,etc.

Ideally I'd like cover for Downhill Biking (many dont cover DH or are a bit vague), and ideally theft cover for my bike for £1500 and the usual rescue stuff, not really bothered about the other rubbish flight delays, cancellations, etc.

was up there for a week working nights with a couple of other guys, so we decided to make the best use of our time spending the days out riding.

The first day saw us go to Gisburn Forest, a really good trail, about 11 miles long, some long climbs and some great descents, in particular 'hully gully' and also a few north shore styled sections though they weren't too difficult. the views were ...
