I was riding south side Epping last night after work... It's running great, few places need a prune as eating thorn bushes and branches gets a bit much.. All trails running rock hard

Enjoy your ride...

ditto - super dry trails! wear long socks to avoid shin rash, but super fun. loving every minute at Epping these days.

Probably a bit late and unsure how it effects the trails and if you already know, but 2 fires currently active at the edge of Epping Forest, Wansted Flats area.

Fire brigade still tackling.

Been out all week round there and they arent a problem for me, maybe its ya clown wheels and high seatpost putting you too far up into the treeline ;)

pruners are available from 99p shops :)

exaggerated media bollocks, no disrespect to the fireman fighting it (possibly including a regular poster on here judging by the location the firetruck I saw this morning was from) :) Speaking to the locals today most were amazed at the difference between what was 'reported' and what we could see.

to reassure you, no trails were harmed, fire was just less than half the size of a footy pitch and at least 200m from any decent singletrack.

Its the only wet bit of epping atm ;)
