I wouldn't say 'terrible' (although to be fair I'm not keen on the vents at the front), but I find it pretty underwhelming. It just sort of looks a lot like most other AM helmets.... But because it's got 'TLD' stamped on the side, the interweb is going wild for it!

It's all over FB pages and men sites are drooling for it... no mention of cost yet but probably £££££ as said it has TLD emblazoned on it....

I was just browsing the CRC 661 private sale too, already got a 661 Wired lid, nothing else grabs my fancy, possibly the 661 padded tops but they don't have any back protection.

Yep, I ordered the subgear long sleeve top and shorts too :)

How do you find the recon lid?

Ive got the shorts, they are cool..lots of padding but havnt had to test em yet, should protect your thighs from bruisng.

I like the helmet, got mine from Evans after trying a few on...turns out i need L/XL for trail lids but about a M for full face.

Quite like the long sleeve top but really not sure if I want something like that on hot days, there are plenty of other tight/D30 ones around now, think Ill stick to t-shirts, elbow pads and maybe a slab of D30/Sas-tec to go in my backpack.
