As the title says really. What is the nearest train station to Danbury? Is it withing riding distance? Itching to go there but haven't got a car I can use

Chelmsford, 5 or so miles uphill! Or see if someone is kind enough to give you a lift

Worth the effort. Danbury is ace.

People have done it before for me so if I am riding and have the car happy to continue the karma. Careful on journeys though as trains often shifted at the weekend.

Nice one I might take you up on that offer but don't really mind a 5 mile ride to get there really. I have some free time coming up soon so will post on the rides page when i'm likely to be at Danbury. Would be great to meet up with some locals to show me the trails.
