Was looking into getting a pair of these knee pads after a good preview review in one of the MTB mags. There is also a good YouTube vid of them dropping a bowling ball on them

Lot of complaints on there forum that they only come in yellow though ;-)

They are eventually bringing out other colours, no idea when and they also mentioned they are bringing out a combined shin and knee pad for MTB riders but again, no timeline.

Heading to NY in 4 weeks so will look to try some on and either invest or go for the Troy Lee KG5400's which also seem like a good lightweight pad which could work for xc riding. Anyone got a pair of these?

Yeah, don't know what they were thinking yellow on black - sort of crash test dummie-esque.

Black on black looks a lot as well the shots of protective shorts and top.

Don't like the look of the Fox armour.

Read a review in MBUK and they got 3 stars, so reasonably good
