So what do you wear out on the bike?

Been lookin at different bike specific clothing, and by god is it expensive!!

Had a look in evans today and was recommended a few different jackets ranging from just windproof, waterproof, wind and waterproof and thermal.

I would make sure that you get good gear for the extremities like gloves and sock/shoes. I use fox anti freeze gloves when it's really cold and they have a seperate liner that can be taken out if it gets warmer. Also I only tend to use seal skin socks during winter as they keep your feet toasty and dry although you can buy winter shoes. A nice beanie for under the helmet is also a good move as is layering your clothing.

A waterproof jacket with built in hood which can go under your helmet to stop rain running off your head and helmet and running down your back, can pick em up quite cheap of ebay, and wear what ever you want underneath (fleece)

something like this

Had a trip to to sports direct and bought a windproof and waterproof jacket for £25 and have stuck some sealskins socks on the xmas list too. For once I actually want socks!
