Been let down on the land rover bike by the local shop not to keen on buying on line , what bike would u recommend for about the 550 mark hard tail , thinking trex dawes or specialized

Maybe a trek 4500 disc. I love treks. I've got a 6500 and a scratch air. Good quality build and great rides!

You should be looking for end of line 2011 deals now and in jan. Each manufacturer releases next years model at different times but as soon as they do the price of the previous years model keeps dropping till they run out.

Evans gave 75 percent last year , and the 500 pound land rover ha similar kit on it to your trek 6500

Both nice bikes and similar spec. I found good reviews for both both big manufacturers so good warranty Go for whichever you can get cheapest!

Evans cycles sale up 50% on Boxing day some bikes.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and your help in finding my new bike , got it today specialize rockhopper sl comp 2010 white , I love it , ebay find for 380 mint condition too , hopefully ill be out and about soon when I have a rest day from work can't wait
