Hi guys, really impressed with this website, nicely done.

I'm 25, never really done mountain biking before but I used to go on cycle tours with my family when I was younger, I've cycled over the penines, the yorkshire dales, lake district etc.

Lately I've been looking for an excuse to do more outdoors stuff, especially in the forest, mountain biking springs to mind.

I've just recovered from an operation on my achilles, so now I'm ready to go! I'd like to meet up with you lot as a beginner if I can? Wondered how that would work?

Be great to hear from someone,

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex,

Welcome. Mosty be quite fit riding in all the hilly places?

I assume you have a mountain biking, though from your post in not clear :?:

Epping is a good place to cut your teeth. Haven't been riding there lately even though it's a few miutes from my house: I think I have developed a phobia for mud ;) :)

As yes, Please delete your email address and mobile number unless you want both filled up with SPAM.

You can use the message function above for doing that and when you want to hook up for a ride posted for the forum etc.

Alex

Hi Alex, welcome.
As the others have said Epping is a great place to start riding, and should be drying out nicely now (gets a bit muddy during the winter)

Hello mate - snapped my Achilles a few years back so know how that feels. It doesn't affect my cycling at all which is cool. Epping is a great place to start for sure and is awesome over the summer. Have you got a mountain bike yet?
