Literally just rode it on Sunday with a few mates of mine from the area.

They have a couple of new sections on the black run towards the bottom of the trail which are brilliant. Pretty fast if you want them to be and you can get some decent air.

I rode the Marin trail on the saturday and this was by far the more enjoyable trail. Still bloody hard on the quads mind!

Beardee, I have only done the Marin and llandegla both twice. I have heard a lot of people slate the llandegla trail. I don't really know why. I would say its not as challenging as the Marin in terms of technical downhill skill but is just a better laid out trail and more fun in my opinion.

The Marin is a lot more rocky.

Yeah everything is open. It actually snowed up there on Sunday. Couldn't believe it! Ha. However the trail is in great condition. Yeah watch out for the steep drop at the end of one of the wooden bits. Forgot about it and nearly went flying over my bars!

Ive heard / read the same, some people prefer cannock  No idea why people slate it.

Nearly went up last weekend, heard about the snow. Llandegla has its own climate. ;)

B-Line looks great fun, try searching youtube for the 'Llandegla freeride trail' :)

Great to meet you Faceplant and cheers for the ride. :high5: How did you get on sunday?

Llandegla was dry. B-Line, dirt jump line, jj jumps all dry and much fun. :D :D

Marin trail, utter shyte, miles and miles of fireroad, up and down, kept thinking the final descent must be amazing, it wasnt. dont ever bother riding this trail.

Hi Beardee!

Was good to get out again after all the rain we've had in London!

really enjoyed the black runs at degla, planning a return journey at the end on July (29/28) if your about.

I rode the red on sunday - my pal was a not confident enough to do the black - which was a real shame. Red was v.tame in comparison.

will have to catch up soon!

FP
