I got mine delivered by courier, I used this people http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0999166587.

The bike has to be fully boxed and someone must be in the WHOLE day on the pick-up/delivery dates. It works fine but it's not a perfect service.

Hmm the seller is a 17yr old lad from Portsmouth, might be a bit hard to organise, might be worth a punt though, thanks

I used paisley freight. If it was in Portsmouth I would go get it personally

Can get pricey.. i have used paisley freight for a set off wheels and was happy with the service . and ive sent a bike by pacel force but watch out for the size if you box a bike with both wheels off and at the side of the frame cost was £27 or like the last one i sent the box was large bike went in with just front wheel, bars pedals removed and that cost £45 last time i use a bike box from halfords lol

Jon.

I sold my old commencal frame and couried that, found a company that were quite cheap but they were pretty crap and said they called at my work and no-one was there which was complete crap as its 24 hour reception, Ill go read my emails and find the name, it did get to its destination ok but hardly great service.

On the other side, my new Commencal cost 14 Euros P&P to come all the way from Andorra and was a great service with really detailed tracking so I could watch its journey :)

I found that when sending my frame there is a certain weight that when it goes over (as a full bike maybe) it suddenly goes up a lot in price.

I used them, was £16, and that covered upto £250, (my old frame wasnt worth that much), not the best service ever but it did get there !
