Im heading down there at the weekend with a few friends that live nearby, they described it in a way that made it sound similar to chicksands/worburn, can anyone enlighten me more on that?

Just got back from a weekend away whith a visit to rogate, id describe it as pure dh with a few doubles thrown in at the bottom of one of the runs, well worth a a look if your down that way for a day.
