Right - Saint hub #3 is now dead as well. That's 3 in 9 months.

Am I;

A) Super hot rider that pushes Saint to and beyond it's limit?
B) Doing something wrong?
C) Cursed.

Super Hot !..or maybe not

I wasnt that impressed with my Saints either, turned a bit notchy quickly and almost impossible to maintain unless you love chasing tiny ball bearings across the floor !.. For comparison my cheapo Superstars are still almost perfect although I did replace all the sealed bearings for some higher spec ones quite early on.

I love Saint (and the newer Zee) stuff but wouldnt bother with their hubs..or their ugly pedals.

What cassette are you using ?, i would of thought its hard to do the damage you have done.

The cassette is a SRAM 1070.

Evans are getting one more shot then it's out the door!

I just wanted to know if I've done anything wrong but I just can't see it - this is the third one now!

The third one. All with the same cassette ? seems to be a bit too much of a coincidence ?

Not all the same cassette - I've changed that since I went over to the SAINT side BUT I have to be honest and say I think it's too much of a coincidence!

Does seem too much of a coincidence. Was going to say it might be caused by incorrect torquing. Not under tightened as you'd see lots of notching on the freehub body and I can't seem much on yours.
Got to give the Superstar Switch hubs a +1 as well. Original bearings are cheese but fit some decent ones (chap on eBay does full branded sets for a good price) and they've been rolling a while now, have got quite a bit of notching on the freehub though even though it's torqued correctly. Used SRAM and XT cassettes.

Dont suppose you took a picture of it with the casette on before you pulled it apart, or even just after you fitted it up?
