My ma lives in Romford so a bit far to go before we go, but she might be able come here while the wife is at work for a few hours. My last chance!!!

The only FS I've owned before was my 06 spesh enduro, which the sx trail was based around which was a confident ride descending and had fox36 up front and fox dhx 5 rear.
I'm not sure what I did not like I really struggled with shimano shifters after having sram for so long, in the down hill switchbacks it never inspired confidence it would not rail the top and so I had to slow and make big turns. With the leaking shock the geometry kept getting changed which made it unpredictable so maybe an unfair test . Ks dropper post was already faulty so no dropper post today. With a French company warranty parts could be a nightmare :(
Ei shock was amazing no rear bob at all in the climbing both seated and standing.
Just not for me which is a shame as I quite fancied one.

Did you have any problems with hitting your heels on the wide stays? I have read this is issue?
I am planning on demoing the zesty and spicy at leisure lakes demo day so hopefully I can see for myself

Perfect bike bingo just not confident as I would like in tight downhill switchbacks and never felt planted to hit the step downs flat out. I'm sure if you are a better rider this is not an issue
