I'm nervous of carbon as I go quicker than my ability and crash a lot plus on the canyon it's fox shock and reverb post all for £1944. If I get this model I can get black and save £400 I can spend on wheels, bars etc.

I was thinking of a lapierre zesty for the ei shock if not then I'm inclined to spend as little as possible to start with keeps the missies happy and then hang aftermarket exotics on it. Get the shock custom valved etc
Canyons also look very bling I've seen them at the bike show and lees and jc's look nice especially evil black.

I used generic 3m heli-tape and bought the thick wide stuff and trimmed to fit, got it from ebay, will see if i can find the link, i wrapped the whole of my downtube, the chain stays and the head tube, its mostly invisible but make sure the bike is properly clean from any polish before applying, i used panel wipe as i had large tin in the garage.

cant find the ebay link as it was so long ago, but it was something like this:

Some how I was guilt tripped into paying for a family holiday instead. Not enjoying my career change at the moment :(

Still thinking canyon such a bargain at £1900 :) I will not be so worried about dropping it whilst I get back into proper riding again. I crash a lot like the zesty demo I took out :)
Geometry fits and the spec for money :)
