Weather is looking a bit 50/50 right now but to get things going...

Lee Valley loop.... I think last weeks dry line in Epping will be long gone :(

10:00am at Bury Rd car park. http://goo.gl/maps/BFzFT

The car park linked looks a bit different now as it's in two halves now... rough part and a tarmac part. Either part is fine as you can see one from the other.

I'll be in a blue VW Transporter

All welcome :)

If we get separated meet up at the cafe, here's a google map link https://goo.gl/maps/rraQp . If you get separated from the group wait here and eat bacon until everyone turns up  That's assuming that you get lost before the bacon.... after the bacon you're on your own ;)

Hi Dj1ceman... tbh rides don't come much more suitable for beginners ;)

There's nothing technical and to only two climbs are both on the road. The rest is fire road and tow path. We might do a little bit of single track on the way back if it's not 12" deep in mud. The route is about 20 miles and take about 2:30 to 3hrs inc a stop at the cafe.

What do you need... some way of fixing a puncture and drink.

Money for bacon and coffee :)

Oh and a bike... definitely bring a bike :wtf:

Thanks for the heads up Jon... didn't think last weekends 'dry line' was going to survive for very long :(

Enjoy the bacon lads, I have to be closer to home this Sunday.

Speaking of bacon Bugeye, the Piglet 2 has arrived and then decided to get matching stem/bars/seat/seatpost all Ragley as my son is a fussy kid. Not quite the topic here but I may start one under the technical side for ideas and advice. So easy to overspend!!!

Your son.... yes right  ;)

Overspending is almost obligatory, just go with it, employ some man maths and it's part of the fun

Keep an eye on the for sale section here and over on STW.... lots of bargains to be had if you're not in a hurry.

Most important thing though is to get some pictures posted up !

You should get some bling colours for your son. Colour anodized bars and bits and bobs. They are relatively cheap aswell.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gub-Handle-Ba ... 1c3ca28294 Something like this?

On One have a good sale going on at the moment, bought flat bars from them this week for a tenner for my retro bike.

CRC are usually decent aswell.

And as bugeye said, photos are always good, i do like a build thread.

Ragley dont do many thing in plain so there will be colours for sure. Its the reason why I went for them & the Piglet. I worry it may end up looking like a rainbow on wheels given some 'diva' style must have's on my sons list. New thread on techie section later tonight.

Surprisingly pleasant ride today... managed to miss the showers :)

Tolga smashed the Avey lane climb in 6:52

No PR for me :(

Max somewhere between to two of us but nearer Tolga than me ;)

Down hill run from the top still running well with a dry line an a bit of jump practice was added fun :)
