All I can say is what great first ride I had with you guys last night, my son (Sam), also enjoyed it he's already looking forward to next weds........ :thumbup: :thumbup: .

Was a Good ride, nice evening for a ride.

Out of interest what sort of gearing were people using? I have a 2x9 with bash and have been getting on ok but haven't ridden with anyone since dropping the big ring. Last night I was in top gear at one point and struggling to keep up despite a higher cadence.

Its an 11-34 cassette and 22/32 chainset.

That sounds like a narrow range to be to be honest, though your chainrings are smaller than mine so..?

But then both of mine are 2 x 10 and 11-36 / 26/38.
