It's been a while but the weather is looking good :)

Route will be single track, so bring your wellies :wtf: fire road and maybe a run up a certain hill ;)

10:00am at Bury Rd car park. http://goo.gl/maps/BFzFT

The car park linked looks a bit different now as it's in two halves now... rough part and a tarmac part. Either part is fine as you can see one from the other.

I'll be in a blue VW Transporter

All welcome :)

Hi, you read my mind, never been to epping forest before but well up for a sunday ride as long as your dont mind some inexperience.
Relatively new to mtb but been swinley and danbury a few times and loved it and I hear epping has some very good runs (baring navigation issue lol).

Inexperience isn't a problem ;)

It's an XC ride with nothing technical and if you fall off the mud usually provides an soft landing :)

We usually ride for about 3hrs or so covering about 15 to 20 miles depending on the route and conditions ( muddy ).

See you Sunday

Awesome, will be there. I got a new build to try out (well i say new, the bike is the same age as me!). Finished it literally 10 minutes ago and it should be great. Equipped with the mud tyres though ofcourse. My fitness will be disgraceful most likely, but looking forward to it.

I know its kind of late but is anyone up for a Wednesday ride?

Hey Jamie :) ... wasn't planning on the Lee valley part, more Epping, so doubt we'd make it as far as the cafe.

Bacon would be available at High Beech though ;)

The hill will feature though :D

Ok so a mud fest as Epping is still a big bog at the moment

Yes.... I do recognise the basic error in my plan to ride in Epping given the current conditions :wtf:

But it's got all of this week to dry out

Also it's been a while since I've seen Karabbean throw himself at the scenery in an interesting fashion.... I'm hoping large amounts of mud will give him something to work with :shh:

I had a quick ride around Epping on Wednesday and it wasn't as bad as i expected. The only bits that are still muddy are some of the sort of rutty puddles. The rest of it was dry. The half dry ruts are the annoying ones, you just stick to them.

Bugeye, you should have been there on Wednesday, i had loads of dodgey moments. haha.

I am told that this Sunday is a family day. I thought Father's day was 'my day' but apparently its not :(

Enjoy the sunny ride.

You will be fine mate. Nothing like that drop on Wednesday night and also, being Epping, not as pacey.
