Enjoyed the ride today, maybe not as much as i should of due to my disgraceful fitness. Sorry for constantly playing catch up throughout the ride. Just was not with it today.

Just laughing thinking back to the bit in the car park where i threw my bike on the ground and stuffed my face with biscuits desperately trying to get some energy I was absolutely finished at that point. That half pounder sorted me out, really needed that, hahaha.

My first ride after many months was always going to be a struggle, but i hope to be back to how i was before pretty soon.

Thanks again Cheetah for the lift, i appreciate it. I hate riding home!

Chatman, i just read that bit above. And yeah, you did beat me on the flat, and ill try and get you on Avey next time, even on the knobblies! ;) Ill give you another race on the flat sometime too. :)

Thanks for leading bugeye, very good as always, but shame i didn't really see you half the time, i was almost on a ride if my own lol! :D

If it makes you feel any better Tolga I was struggling today and now my legs seem to have gone on strike

Must admit it was rather strange not to have you continually try to squeeze by on fast bit

Youth of today ehh  ;)

A quote from a mate of mine jumps to mind...

Martins Mate said "Well you've finally passed me on a downhill.... shame you weren't actually on the bike when you did it"

Thanks Jamie, keep rubbing it in mate ;-). It was a weird Sunday morning not being on the bike. My legs were itching for some pedaling.

That was a really good ride yesterday, despite almost loosing a shoe in that mud pool at the end of one descent and those thigh destroying lactic acid inducing hills I came out relatively unscratched.
big thanks to all the organisation and navigation skills people

No worries on the lift carribean 20+miles in epping then a ride home would put most over the limit.
Looking forward to the next event and hopefully have a bit of time to fix my slipping chain problem (totally affected my ability to complete on those hills....nothing to do with a general lack of fitness lol).

C u all next time. :high5:
