OK all this is the last race in the MSG 2014 series. Langdon Hills is a good course and brutal hills and good down hill sections, this is a good place and they save it until last.

I signed up today. Doing the open males.
I live fairly close to Langdon hills so I'll be getting over there for some practice this weekend.

I know this bike. Almost bought one some time ago :)
No its the MSG race number. You are given the number the first time you attend to an event and then you keep it.

Oh nice, you don't see them very often as I think they only have 1 outlet in the UK. They crop on ebay once in a blue moon.

This is the first msg I've gone in for so no number as yet. I hear the course is good

Hi Folks,

Mind if I say hello. Just booked for this race and also first msg so it's the 10am open race for me. Please don't laugh if you see a white boardman approach you!

Bit of advice for the race (mainly the start) as it goes round the field and it starts to point up, stay on and spin it out, dont blow out all your energy on the first climb, theres a very techy down straight after the climb.
on the last 3rd of the lap there is a steep climb, get a run at it, pedal pedal pedal, if you make it up you will gain lots of time/places.

this is all assuming theyre using the same track as the last 5 years. I hope they do for all your sakes as its brilliant.
