Shame I had to leave at the bacon stop this time. Only fell off the bike once too!!

Hopefully I can stay for the full ride next time.

Hey guys,

was a great ride and at least I got an hour or so out of it. Have not been exercising for a few years so really driven to get back into shape and rejoin you guys later.

The fire trails are quite vast and I spent a few hours leaving at after 13:00 myself today. Did get 10 miles in at a slower pace so still happy on that.
Was quite a few downhill runs reaching some good speeds (watching out for the large number of visitors) and also some strong uphill ones. I should be visiting Epping a lot more now.

cheers, nice to have met you all.

Thanks bugeye, great run!

ended up dropping behind, it happens quick when it happens.
one minute there the last man was and then they all seemed to have vanished..

still had heaps of fun carving our own way back, head for the sun!!!

…and then trough some bushes..

did end up going round the golf course too.

thanks guys for being part in one of your blinding pitstops!!! what was that time again?

will return to venture with you soon again!

DZ

ps. lost boys

Glad the breakaway group got a decent ride too  ..... I thought we were all much closer together when I made a quick left down the fire road followed by a quick right into the bushes..... not as close as I thought it seems ;)

Hass.... have a look here http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/introduce-yourself/old-git-from-essex-t5860.html if you can make the trip over to Danbury looks like this might work for you?

Well a new record for me ,lost twice in one day.. I did get some nice bike pic's though..

No worries Bondhan always happy to help, just glad you didn't have to walk home. :D

Martin I stopped for no more than 15 seconds with Deltazulu and you were gone..!! ( i think we need walkie talkie's )
and it was only 50 meters from the cafe exit.

Myself and Deltazulu then met up with rob and his mate and we had a laugh getting even more lost..

So after all that it was a great ride, I must admit I was feeling it from not doing anything last couple of weeks. :(

Nice to meet new faces.

Hope to see you all next time..!!

:high5:
