Is anyone up for these? I know I failed to show for most last winter, although it did get pretty wet didnt it and know my work go in the way constantly from me showing up. excuses excuses. I should be better this winter. Is anyone else up for a wed night ride, half 6 maybe? always worth putting the feelers out.

Need to go a few times in daylight first, but then I'm interested if the pace is calm :)

I'm new to the area, have ridden Danbury a few times now, and just brought my night lights up, so definitely up for night rides!

tugger/Madasnibbor, I'm up for ridding either Weds or Thurs, where do you park/meet up?

Thursdays is fine with me in most cases since it suits Adam too. We could do Danbury one week and Hylands/Blackmore loop next. The second one is a slighly pacier ride, an alternative to Danbury when it gets pretty muddy. Last time we did it we met up by the car park behind the church at the edge of Hylands park (by the roundabout).

That sounds an interesting one as I live between Hylands & Blackmore :)

Is it road, track or mud?

All off road, with the exception of a 300m stretch of tarmac. I have a photo of the route but its not letting me upload here.

In few words, starting from Hylands we go through these woods - South, King's, Great Edney, Baker, Writtlepark, Ellis, Deerslade, Barrow, and then back via Highwood village.

I hope you get an idea now.

I should really, considering I have never been there - relatively new to the sport so not that well travelled I am afraid ;-). Tried few times but timing did not work out. Drop us a line when you are planning a ride there.

This Thursday we should be up for a ride. I normally ride to Danbury or to Hylands if I am ready to leave home 30mins before meeting time. Its a good warm up. If you fancy riding there next time you join let me know.

Sounds a bit fast paced for me. Can do Hylands though as it's on my doorstep, so can duck out if pace is too much :)
