I need to get some new wheels and just wanted to check something.

The distance between the rear dropouts is 140mm (ish) so I think i need 142mm hubs - can someone confirm please?

Apologises for a daft question but just wanted to check

TIA

Jim

142s are just 135 but with extra notch in frame each side which I assume would be 3.5mm each side.

Ahhh ok thanks for that Andy.

I was wondering if all the hub lengths were roughly the same as I know Hope and a few others do conversion kits - so presumable 135s and 142s would be interchangeable by swapping the axles and a few other bits?

Just thinking ahead in case I get 142s and then wanted to put them on a 135 or vice-versa...

135s and 142s are interchangeable assuming you can get adapter kit but 135s and 150s are not.

If you put a 142 in a 135 designed frame will it mean flexing the the rear that 7mm to get it in?
