Quick question for a friend, he has got an on one 456 frame and want to fit a tappered fork, is this possible? From what i can see you can't as you need a 34mm external cup to fit in the fram but is tappered out for 44mm for the fork

Can't you get an external cup that takes tapered? I'm sure I had something similar when I built the Stanton. Hope do mixtures of cups...

Seems you can with some forks depending on the frame size. STW thread http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/on-one-456-16-tapered-forks

Just in case you don't know the user brant used to be On Ones designer so I suppose he should know.

That's what I want to get but there does not seem to be an external 1.5" lower cup option, just 1.1/8"

Have you looked into getting it custom made? I don't know how important it is to you that it gets done but for such a small piece of metal work it wouldn't cost a lot to get it done by a metal worker.

You need a ZS44 EC44 headset.
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/cane ... prod115641 (or buy the whole Cane Creek 40).
Is it a 45650B or Carbon?

Ah that's a standard 1 1/8" straight steerer then. Same frame as mine so you can't fit tapered forks.
