Sad that you're going to miss the race. But that log before the little! jump looks tough. Have you done it? and how do you get over it? roll over? bunny hop? Use the chicken run ( that's the roadie in me!).

And yes I did enter it!

Don't worry about the little jump mate, I am sure it will be a rock garden that is used instead. Harder than it looks but just pick a line and go. Once down you will be thinking it was easy. It is he pic in the first post that's says technical descent.

Scarper,

The MSG lot put up some photos of the course on their FB page, rock garden, tree roots and hills and gullys. Hope they also include the wooden bridges and broad walks ??

Also hope they don't include all that grass sections like last year.

Think there may be a small jump or 2 in there and a bit of grass just to kill off the legs a bit. Also a B line for the rock garden. Will enter some of the other races, not sure which yet.

Gutted, camera malfunction apparently resulting in unable to play the video of the practice lap :(

No not cheating as most ride 650 or 29'ers now at these races

Good racing today, course was fun and technical.. New rock features in and tons of slippery roots to play on. Still had grass section in, with added bog and slop, made going tuff on the legs,

Good to see both of you in the flesh. B lines all the way for me. Must actually try to arrive earlier to these events so that I can do a practise lap!

Scarper, great job on the course but who's idea was it to include those short/sharp climbs. I was grinding to a halt on top of most of them!!!

Definitely a day for a few 'foot downs'.

Roll on the next one.
