I looked at it, looks like fun, not got the time at the moment, small woods apparently but enough to keep it interesting?
From memory its being run by Michael Travers, so you know its gonna be a fast course.

Lycra rules!!!! Chatman is just jealous! Ok I'm just a cheapskate. I just can't let go of the lycra.

I suppose I better get an an Essex Herts top!

Ugo, Redact, I'll be on a white boardman, white helmut, and a red camelback.

Ok managed to survive this race. Went over the handlebars at one dip with thick mud and slipped on another corner tight around a tree. I've done three thetford races and 2 MSG and , apart from foot downs, this is the first time I've come off! This is not counting the hairy moments. I read Martin's comments on Epping today and it sounds like the same conditions very very slippery. could have done with Mud tyre!!!

Managed 20th (it wasn't a big field!!!! and completed 8 laps (2.5km laps). Winner done it in 10 laps. Very friendly atmosphere but some serious racers turned up! Everybody got a free bottle and some seriously good cake. Even the marshals commented on how it was worth volunteering just for the cake!

Redact, good to meet you in person and well done for making it in one piece. Ugo, did you do this one?

Martin, you would like this. very twisty and no major climbs. Actually felt like a tight Epping route minus the hills but on slippery ground.

Yes, cool to meet you too John. Hope the calf is not giving you too much bother.

What else can I say really other than I managed 7 laps for 26th and hit the deck once. I really really need to work on my tight and twisty game. As a racing initiation it was a good muddy day all round. Glad I've got some more capable tyres coming in the post though! Agreed the cake was excellent as was the selection of fat bikes that were on display.

What I will do is MSG at Hadleigh on 10th next month........in fact maybe I should go and put up a new post and get interest!!!
