My bike has a power spline type bb and it's starting to grind a little. So will soon be doing my first big upgrade. New crankset and bb. The reviews seem very positive for the hope bb is it money well spent in the long run, costs three times more than some but would it last three time longer? Nearly 4 months and bits are starting to wear out :?

Personal opinion no, BB's wear out at this time of year in all the wetness etc.
Do you need a whole chrankset or just the BB?
Look at Uber components or any of the other quality suppliers, with Hope you are paying a lot for the name but it is a good product, just not 3 times better.

Hello, I could just replace the bb, nothing wrong with the crank arms but fancy getting a hollow crankset. Seen a direct mount race face one that looks alright. Will take a look at Uber components

Does it come with a BB, most do?
I'll be selling my SRAM NX crank in the next few days. Uses a GXP BB only bought it in August as I broke my X0 one

I was planning on getting the crank arms and chain ring separately as the package sets only have 30 or 32 teeth and I want a 34 tooth chainring, no bb supplied. Looked at uber too thanks for that, will be getting a few other bits from them soon.

How much you looking for? Is it direct mount or bolt on? Just the crank arms? What length arms too

Its a 32t single ring, not direct mount.

I'll take a picture of my one later this evening if you're interested. £50 as it cost me £90 in Afan.
Trouble is you'd still need a new BB unless you use press fit BB92's?
A Std GXP from Uber are very good.

Please do I'm interested, could you confirm the bolt circle please, I've read it's 94mm also the arm length. Would save me a few quid
My bikes set up 1x10 with 34t chainring, what's the difference in two teeth the feel I mean, still very new to all this.

Yeah that sounds right, its not the std 104. 32t will give a lower ratio (better for climbing) Arm lengths are 170mm
I'll post a picture ASAP
