Definitely be interested in this, but recuperating a the moment from a broken ankle so it's a bit soon. I've looked through the thread and I can't see why it's only 6 riders allowed at one time. Is it private property?

I hope the offer of a guide is still available when my ankles better.

Why the limit on six riders - are you doing it on one of these?

Its private land, with access to the area controlled by the friends of hurtwood charity. Their code of conduct states max. 6 riders in a group, Ive not seen a group bigger than 6 and with the future of mtb in the area far from certain im sticking to rules.

Healing vibes Duckcm, wont be going as frequently after 2nd September, when will you be healed up?

Just Pm'd everyone riding on 31st August with directions and info.

Need to get a start time sorted, Either a 1pm compromise or a 12pm and 2pm split start...

Hi Beardee I'm out of the cast now but still not got full mobility and strength back in the ankle, after the knee probably the most important joint for cycling!

I'm getting stronger but every now and then I tweak it at a new angle and it's painful. I don't want to rush getting back on the bike if it's gonna have a more detrimental effect long-term.

I might be able to make the September one I suppose. Depends on rehabilitation though.

I am now easy on time as i'll have to take a days holiday, was on holiday looking after kids, but now back at work so easier for me to get away from wife and kids

I can take Damo as i have a 2 bike rack, I know Clayton has a van so he can take A other, meet up at services again and head down there 8-)

Clayton kindly said he'd come and grab me and my steed so I'll work around whatever suits the Dude :)
