Cable discs are pretty cheap and save mucking about with bleeding them ect. also doesnt matter as much if you buckle a wheel or ride through puddles!

saying that, are the hubs disc compatible? hard to tell from the pics!

Yeah they are compatible

i have some hayes mx2's sitting around not up to much so will use them.

i also have some Blank levers i liberated so will use them.

but i intend on riding it first and worry about upgrades later

i still have to convert my pitch to 1 x 9

Sounds like there's a lot of tweaking to be done to both rigs!

Blank Levers
Superstar lock rings to keep the grips in place
Red Dice valve caps
Dmr V8 pedals (also serviced them)
Hayes MX2 Rear Brake, front to follow when i have sourced a suitable wheel
Pivotal seat and post, so much lighter than the original and bashes the knees less!

had a good afternoon over warley but lost the bottle a bit and cased quite a few times

ben beasted it today video up shortly.

I went off to the right over a set of doubles and tried to correct as i landed. according to my mate i had the wheel turned as i landed so it naturally dug in and threw me over the bars and off for a roll about in the mud.
my mate whacked fuck out of it on the floor and it it was more than straight enough to carry on so did a couple more hours on it.
gonna drop it off to stanley bridge later to get it trued up
